Nefeli Chadouli has conducted renowned ensembles, including the Chicago Philharmonic, Luzerner Sinfonieorchester, Staatsorchester Braunschweig, Orchester der Komischen Oper Berlin, Neubrandenburger Philharmonie, Kammerakademie Potsdam, Göttinger Symphonieorchester, Brandenburgisches Staatsorchester Frankfurt, Magdeburger Philharmonie, Philharmonische Orchester des Staatstheater Cottbus, Sächsische Bläserphilharmonie, Brandenburger Symphoniker, Preussisches Kammerorchester, Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz, Sinfonia Leipzig, Leipziger Symphonieorchester, Thessaloniki City Symphony Orchestra, Athens City Symphony Orchestra. In 2021 she was invited to the Musa Hellenica Festival, where she conducted works by contemporary composers.
Among her principal mentors is Marin Alsop, with whom she has also served as Assistant Conductor at concerts with the Berliner Philharmoniker, as well as ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien and Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. As an Assistant Conductor, she has also collaborated with Steven Sloane, Harry Curtis, Matthias Foremny, and Catherine Larsen-Maguire, working on both symphonic and operatic repertoire.
Furthermore, she has attended conducting masterclasses with Johannes Schlaefli, Michael Sanderling,Vittorio Parisi, Anna Skryleva, Sebastiano Rolli, Roger Benedict, Michalis Economou, Jonathan Brett, Basilio Astulez and Urlich Weder.
EARLY YEARS
Born in Athens, Nefeli Chadouli began her musical journey studying piano and violin. She earned a piano diploma from the National Conservatory of Greece, receiving top honors, including the Grand Prix, Exceptional Performance Distinction, and the “Krino Kalomoiri Award.” In 2014 she founded the Youth Orchestra “Periklis Koukos” at the National Conservatory of Greece, which she had been conducting until 2018.
Her further academic achievements include a Master’s degree in Musicology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a Bachelor’s degree in Conducting from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig, and, most recently, a Master’s degree in Conducting from the Universität der Künste in Berlin, completed in 2024.
